The Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership is an international network of people, projects, and programs actively engaged in complex organizational and societal challenges. In a time of increasing fragmentation, the Institute provides a holistic, integrated platform for leaders seeking new, more systemic solutions and greater levels of effectiveness. The Institute is a nonprofit, nonreligious organization based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and funded by a combination of program tuition, sponsorships, and donations.

The Institute's annual Authentic Leadership in Action program, held in Nova Scotia since 2001, attracts 300 leaders annually, from across sectors and across continents. This program features a unique blend of ancient and leading-edge theory, practices, and principles. It has become known internationally as a powerful context for dialogue and skill-building, and as an opportunity to be on a learning edge with some of the most respected thinkers, researchers, and leaders of our time. Associated faculty include Peter Senge, Margaret Wheatley, Art Kleiner, C. Otto Scharmer, Adam Kahane, Juanita Brown, and many others.

Our Invitation to You

In May 2008, for the first time, the Shambhala Institute will host a regional version of its annual Authentic Leadership in Action program in Peterborough, Ontario. We invite you and your organization to take part in this launch event as a program sponsor. Your participation will help fund strategic scholarships for community leaders and emerging young leaders (ages 18-30) who would otherwise be unable to attend this premier leadership event. It will also position your organization as a leader in the field of organizational and social innovation.

Silver Sponsor $6,000

• Your support will provide two full scholarships to the Authentic Leadership in Action program.
• Acknowledgement for this generosity will be publicly expressed at the welcome and close of the program, and in the form of a certificate for your organization.
• Your organization will also receive a letter of acknowledgement from the sponsorship recipients.
• Your organization will be listed on the program page of Shambhala Institute website, along with a link to your website.
• Your organization will be featured in a quarter-page black and white ad in the program guide.
• In addition, one representative of your organization will be invited to attend Authentic Leadership in Action as part of this package.
• Your organization's attending representative and a guest are invited to a VIP Reception with program faculty.

Gold Sponsor $12,000

Add the following upgrades and benefits to those listed above.

• Your support will provide four full scholarships.
• Your organization will be featured in a half-page black and white ad in the program guide
• Two representatives of your organization are invited to attend Authentic Leadership in Action.

Platinum Sponsor $25,000

Add the following upgrades and benefits to those listed above.

• Your support will provide eight full scholarships and will also contribute to the costs of the pre-program session for young emerging leaders.
• Your organization will be featured in a full-page black and white ad in the program guide
• Three representatives of your organization will be invited to attend Authentic Leadership in Action.
• Your literature will be included in the program packet.
• Your generous sponsorship will be acknowledged at the closing event with the presentation of an original work by author and calligrapher Barbara Bash.
