Sounds and Images from the 2007 Authentic Leadership Summer Program

June 24-30, 2006

297 people from 22 countries, 10 modules, 3 arts performances, 5 meditation talks, a Nova Scotian heat wave — these were some of the ingredients in this five-day journey of learning and connection. Our senses, our intellect, our stories, and our burning questions were all engaged — and then we returned to the meditation cushion.

Moving, stopping, listening, strategizing, applying, stopping again — what is the container that holds it all, so that when we leave we are somehow bigger, more open, more whole, more ready, more strategic and on track than when we arrived?

At this Point in Time: An improvisation with Jerry Granelli, Arawana Hayashi, Lanny Harrison, Barbara Bash, and Tim Merry. Slideshow.

The first meditation talk, given by Alan Sloan, is available here in mp3 format.

The milling song that Mary Jane Lamond taught us is called A Mhòrag's na Horo Gheallaidh. It is on her album Làn dùil, and she has offered it in mp3 format to 2007 Authentic Leadership alumni. You can access it here. And here is Mary Jane's website.

Refreshing the View: Thursday's talk from Michael Chender
